Looking at Fall 2013 collections while it's still summer and sizzling hot out there seems pretty pointless, yet I couldn't resist. With my exams and everything it was super hard to stay up to date about the latest collections -many designers have already presented their Spring/ Summer 2014 collections, how rad is that?- but now I'm ready to reconcile and pay my dues to the fashion world.
A couple of my favorite looks from the lookbook of Jackson, a LA based, LA made clothing line specializing
in seasonless wardrobe staples.
Burberry Prorsum
Isabel Marant
DKNY
Michael Kors
Marc by Marc Jacobs
Mary Katrantzou
Marc Jacobs
Probably my favorite look for Fall 2013.
Celine
Jason Wu
Get ready for a pretty boring fashion-wise autumn, since it all about structured masculine blazers and coats in navy blue, black and the 50 shades of grey. Lots of designers, such as Tommy Hilfiger or Marc by Marc Jacobs went for the neat but in no case preppy, "too cool for school" uniform look. Michael Kors, Zac Posen, Narciso Rodrigues and Diane von Furstenberg were some of the few designers that dared to add some color such as electric blue, burgundy red, plum purple as well as a totally unexpected (for fall collections) shade of orange -the color of the tree leaves that are about to fall?
